There is considerable interest in the chalets and camper van pitches that De Flaasbloem has reserved for us for our 60th anniversary weekend from 12 to 15 June 2026.

Class division

The individual classes of participation are defined as follows, with the date on which the dog is shown being decisive for determining the age.

The “Muurbloempjes” class is intended for Leonbergers with a pedigree who are not eligible to compete in the regular classes, such as neutered males, males missing a testicle, dogs with dental abnormalities, etc.

A CAC may be awarded to dogs from all classes except those entered in the Baby Class, Puppy Class, Old Wise Dogs, Muurbloempjes and the Child/Dog Show.

Pairs and groups

11. Participation in Couple Class
Couple Class = male and female of the same owner. Dogs participating in the Couple Class must also be entered in one of classes 1 to 9.

The classes described below can also be entered at the secretariat on the day of the show until 12:00.

12. Participation in Child/Dog Show
Children up to and including 12 years old may participate. Theme: Disney.
Dogs participating in the Child/Dog Show must also be entered in one of classes 1 to 10.

13. Participation in Breeding Class
Breeding Class = minimum 3, maximum 5 dogs bred by the same person, but not necessarily owned by that person.
Dogs participating in the Breeding Class must also be entered in one of classes 1 to 9.

14. Participation in Progeny Class
Progeny Class = male/female with minimum 3 and maximum 5 first-generation offspring.
Dogs participating in the Progeny Class must also be entered in one of classes 1 to 9.

Please note the following:

* A copy of the championship certificate may be sent to: clubmatch@leonberger.nl. If we do not receive the copies by 28 May 2026, the dog will be entered in the Open Class.

A small tip when filling in the form:
We kindly ask you to write names with only one capital letter at the beginning. When names are entered entirely in capital letters, we have to correct them manually for the judging reports and the catalogue.

Anniversary party & BBQ

On Saturday evening, 13 June, we will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Leonberg Dog Club Netherlands.

During this celebratory evening, we will host a convivial BBQ and a festive evening for members and visitors.
